On a cold December day in 1982 at a hospital in Yonkers, Cynthia and Joseph Granger welcomed into the world their middle child, and first daughter. Weighing 6 pounds 3 and a half ounces the girl was somewhat sickly. Her parents worried so much about her and on her fourth and final day in the hospital they finally came up with the name Victoria, because she had victoriously overcame odds and survived when they said she wouldn't. The family was well off but not wealthy, her mother was a nurse and her father was a estate attorney. Her brother James was four years her senior and always getting into a lot of trouble. Most of her time was spent outside or around the neighborhood butting into whatever the other little kids were doing. That was how she met a young boy named Bryan, she followed him into his hiding spots whenever he would run off and go into his own little world and questioned him about one thing after another. The two of them eventually became inseparable. He was the Dawson to her Joey, the boy that had watched her go through everything from her dance recitals to her heartbreaks.
When graduation day came she vowed to him that she would never lose contact with him, she moved down to Galveston, Texas to reside with her brother while attending school. Her brother had moved there about two years prior with a woman that seemed to control every aspect in his life. Enrolling in Galveston College she at first took up courses in Nursing, then deciding about two semesters in that she no longer wanted to do nursing that law was her passion. While attending this college she met a man that kept pursuing her, attempt after attempt and she kept turning him down figuring he was just after what she had in her pants anyway. Finally she let her guard down and agreed to a date with him. Devin and Victoria had fun in the beginning, she liked his playful nature and his cunning good looks. She fell for him and fell hard. Though things were always a bit dysfunctional for the two of them, she always felt he wanted someone else and he always accused her of being overly friendly with Bryan.
She was almost completed with her courses when she found out that she was pregnant. This shocked Tori, she had once been told that she would never be able to have children. When she told Devin she saw the look of horror, shock and happiness rolled into one appear and she wanted him to change, not as a human being and not his personality but she wanted him to step back from the poisons that he was putting into his body and become the father that he never had. She couldn't fight him on this because she wasn't married to him and she was only a girlfriend. She didn't exactly encourage the drugs but she didn't stomp her foot down and give him an ultimatum which she should have done from the start. Deciding to stay together as a family, They moved back to New York, Brooklyn this time to be closer to his grandparents. She started off in the workforce 6 months after their first child, Isabelle was born. It pained her to leave her precious baby girl but they both needed to work in order to keep their family afloat. This, however was a downfall in their relationship she had easier access to seeing Bryan which sent Devin into a bit of a jealousy fit and he had easier access to his drug contacts.
In 2006, after somehow still managing to make things work because of their strong love for one another, they had their second child a son named Andrew. Devin was excited to have a mini him, they had that perfect little family that everyone else desired except there was one thing missing...them becoming man and wife. She didn't like to push him but for some reason she did on this issue. She wanted them to be married, they had two children and had lasted as long as they had all she wanted was to be Mrs. Devin Cowens. Practically throwing a fit on him he finally asked her to marry him and they had a quick courthouse wedding in 2007 which was the end of them because in 2008 they filed for divorce and she moved back into her parents' place in Yonkers. By this time she had been seeing a lot of Bryan again, before she and Devin had even filed for divorce she had admitted to the man that her relationship with Devin wasn't what she had dreamed her married life would be like and Bryan, admitted how he really felt about her which shocked Tori, she never in a million years thought that he saw her like that. After all, she didn't think that she was anything special. Now every single one of his lyrics made sense to her, she always wondered who they were about and now she knew.
In the spring of 2009 Tori and Bryan became man and wife, she wasn't worried about rushing into a relationship and the married life to a man that she had known for as long as she could remember. She felt that them meeting had happened for a reason. The biggest worry she had was how Devin was going to managed without the children, she knew how much they meant to the man but when he decided to move to Crocker Park, South Carolina practically right along with herself and her new husband that worry was out of her mind. She still felt bad for him uprooting his whole life but she knew he would do anything in his power to be near his children. Tori and Bryan live together in a gorgeous home not too far away from where her ex lives, they all have an open line of communication between them.
Tori no longer holds back what is on her mind, she will tell it like it is to anyone and everyone. If she feels that someone is being an idiot she will tell them and not feel any regret in doing so.
Zombies are her unhealthy fascination she believes that it is possible that the zombie epidemic could become real and she is prepared to kick some zombie ass.
Dance and ballet are just a few of her hobbies, she also collects vintage barbie dolls and has shrine to Madonna in her bedroom closet. She wouldn't dare let anyone else know about it.
Food is a passion for her but not to the point where she only eats and obsesses about food, she thinks that food is something to be taken in moderation and if a woman can out eat a man and disgust him that there's something wrong with her
Her children are her life and she would eventually like to have another one or two but she's uncertain if she can even have anymore children.
Once she won a belly dancing contest, she placed first and she only did it because she was drunk and wanted the cash, the person that won second was a professional belly dancer.
In high school she performed UNITY by Queen Latifa, sadly she was laughed off of the stage by some of the other girls that didn't like her because she didn't sing a traditionally performed song.
She has a pet Iguana named Jerry Garcia, a dog named Spartacus, and a cat named Mr. Winklebottom, after the garden gnome on king of the hill.
Bryan Scott.
The Dawson to her Joey growing up together and nearly being connectted at the hip, these two went through everything together. They remained close even through numerous moves, let downs and other obstacles that had entered into their lives. Though they are married now, they didn't always admit their feelings toward eachother. She was oblivious that he even had any toward her.
Brandon Jones.
The cousin they share a certain amount of dna, her father was his mothers brother. If you can follow that you get a gold star. Brandon and Tori were never close only seeing each other on the holidays and whenever they would randomly visit until they ran into each other a few times in Texas and then again when she moved to Crocker Park
Devin Cowens.
The ex husband They shared several years together and produced two children together. They Married and divorced as suddenly as they had fell in love. They weren't meant to be but that doesn't mean that they can't co-exist in the world together and be civil for their children, after all they did love eachother at one point, didn't they?
